You use this panel to find items in the All Tags edit panel. You enter a pattern which is case, diacritic and width insensitive unless Exact matches only is set. The Value column is always searched. You can specify if you also want to search the Description and Type columns.
If a match is found it will be highlighted and the Edit>Find>Find Next and Edit>Find>Find Previous menu items and associated keyboard shortcuts can be used.
Wrapping searches controls what happens when doing an Edit>Find>Find Next or Edit>Find>Find Previous and there are no additional matches in the implied direction. When the option is off, the search will fail. When the option is on the search will continue from the last or first item. When the option is on a search will never fail as long as there is at least one match.
Note that in the All Tags edit panel you can position to items based on the Description column by type select.
The Log button will search for all occurrences of the specified pattern and display them in the Log Viewer. The Wrapping searches setting is ignored. Each match will display the following:
Description column -- Type column -- Value column
When more than one file is selected, each item will be followed by a list of the containing files.
