What's With the Blue Text?

When the text in an edit panel field is displayed in blue, Yate has detected something invalid in the field. The most common reasons are:

• The field contains control characters.
• A single line field contains newline or tab characters. There may be multiple lines of input of which only the first is visible.
• A numeric field has a value less than zero where inappropriate.
• A numeric field contains extra text after the number.

When the text is blue, the field's associated function button will have a Why is the Text Blue? item.

Clicking on the field's associated function button and selecting Choose Value will allow you to see the full contents of the field. You can also see the actual field contents in a Snapshot.
