Video Classification Encoding

Video classifications are encoded as follows:

standard|rating|score|reason

standard is typically one of:

cc-movie
    or
cc-tv

where cc is a two character country code. The complete list of two character country codes can be referenced at the following links:

Nations Online
ISO

An exception to the above encoding is US classifications for movies which describe the standard component as mpaa.

The standard field is always described in lower case.

rating is a rating in the associated standard. eg. P, PG, etc.

score is a country independant value.

reason is optional descriptive text qualifying the rating. eg. Contains violence.
