Clear User Defined Items by Source

This is a convenience function which can delete most of the metadata stored in User Defined Item Info and User Defined URLs associated with selected sources.

This function will not clear information in items which are mapped to custom fields.

For each selected item two User Defined Fields statements are executed.

Remove all User Defined Text Items with case insensitive prefix 'name'
Remove all User Defined URLs with case insensitive prefix 'name'

Where name is the one of the items displayed in the sources table.

Sound Check is an exception to the above. For Sound Check, one of the following statements are executed:

For MPEG-4 files:
Remove all User Defined Text Items with case insensitive name 'iTunNORM'
For other files:
Remove all Comments with case insensitive name 'iTunNORM'

Note that Apple App PID UDTIs are not removed when iTunes is selected. Use the Remove Apple App PIDs functionality to remove PIDs.

Note that it is possible the Music application uses UDTIs which are prefixed by iTunes

Note that the Clear AcoustID Data, Clear Fingerprint Data and Remove Apple App PIDs statements remove specific data while this statement primarily removes by pattern matching.

Deprecation: The use of the Yate item in this statement is deprecated. Selecting Yate will not remove Yate Album ID and Yate Track ID if they have been defined as custom fields. You should use the Yata Database IDs statement to remove them which always works.
