This function allows you to import information from an Apple application. Note the operation only works on selected files which are linked. When Use defaults is checked, the values which get imported depend on the fields selected in the Settings - Apple Apps - Fields of Interest panel.
Classical metadata refers to the fields: Work Name, Movement Name, Movement Number and Movement Count. The proper understanding of what has to be done to properly synchronize classical and grouping metadata can be found in Classical Metadata and the Grouping Field.
The Media Kind, associated with Yate's Media Type field, can have the following value: Audiobook, Alert Tone, Booklet, Home Video, iTunesU, Movie, Music, Music Video, Podcast, Ringtone, TV Show, and Voice Memo.
Note: PIDs are meaningless and should not be retained if you have more than one library associated with an Apple application.
Depending on your Settings - Apple Apps settings, the Link to Apple Apps and Link to Apple Apps if Modified functions may auto import information.
