Extract Picture Type from File Name Rule Manager

This panel allows you to specify rules to control how a Picture Type is extracted from a file name. Each item in the table contains one or more words and an associated picture type.

A word is any sequence of alphanumeric characters and is case insensitive. Note that each time an item's words are edited the entry will be sanitized to ensure the correct formatting.

You can change the picture type associated with an item by selecting the item and clicking on the P button. Alternately you can double-click directly on a picture type in the table.

The matching algorithm iterates through each item in the table. If all the words in an item are found in a given file name, the associated picture type is assumed and the algorithm stops. Think of multiple words in an item as And conditions and separate items as Or conditions.

As the order of the items is meaningful, you can drag and drop them to rearrange the order.
