These functions are used to create or add to a playlist in an Apple application. You can elect to use all open files or only those files which are selected. Only files which are linked will be placed into the playlist. You will be prompted for the name of the playlist. The specified name can use any of the Apple App Playlist Naming Conventions.
The disclosure control can be used to display a menu of all current playlists. Yate will determine if the playlist names should be extracted from iTunes/Music or TV. If a determination cannot be made you will be prompted to choose. Note that on Catalina and later the Music and TV applications must be started before extracting the playlist names if not already open. When this happens it is possible that the menu is dismissed before you can interact with it. If this happens simply press the button again.
When creating, if the playlist already exists the previous contents will be lost.
When adding, if the playlist does not exist it will be created.
Regardless of the mode, duplicates files will not be added.
