Via the Actions>Refresh Apple App menu item you can manually tell an Apple application to update its metadata. Note the operation only works on selected files which are linked and have not been modified.
The only time you would manually refresh is if you previously made changes in Yate and you were not linked at the time. Files with pending changes will not be refreshed as Apple applications refresh directly from files.
