The Yate menu has an item named Quit Discarding Changes. When this item is selected, all changes to audio files are discarded and the application will attempt to terminate. You will still be prompted if an open database file or Action Editor window has unsaved changes. By default a confirmation panel will be displayed whenever this function is invoked and audio files have unsaved changes. You can disable the display of the confirmation panel by setting the Settings-General-Allow Quit Discarding Changes without warning option.
Due to their proximity on the keyboard it is easy to enter ⌘Q as opposed to ⌘A. If you wish you can enable the issuing of a warning whenever quitting is valid and ⌘Q is entered. Simply click on the Warn before Quitting (⌘Q) menu item to enable or disable the test. A checkmark is displayed for enabled. When the panel is displayed it can be dismissed by clicking one of the button choices or via the Return key for Quit or the Escape key for Cancel.
Quit Yate wil attempt to terminate the application. Note that clicking on this menu item bypasses the Warn before Quitting (⌘Q) test.
