Normalize Artwork

The function accumulates all unique artwork items within each group of tracks. Uniqueness implies the same image data, description, picture type and mime type.

Tracks are grouped as follows:

Per Album

All tracks with the same case insensitive Album field are treated as a group. Tracks with empty Album fields will be ignored.

Per Folder

Tracks are grouped based on folders.

All Files

All tracks are treated as a single group.

When Per disc processing of Media (CD Label) is enabled, images with the Media (CD Label) picture type are only replicated within same numbered discs.

In the table you select which picture types you want to be normalized. You can select or deselect all picture types from the table's context menu. This determines which picture types are to be processed.

The function will also sort images in the following order: Cover (front), Other, Cover (back), remaining picture types in list (numeric) order. Images of the same type are sorted in descending pixel count.

The function essentially does nothing to track groups with only one track. While valid in grouped execution mode, the function will not do anything.
