Settings - Tag Sets

Yate uses tag sets everywhere. Tag sets are simply lists of tag fields. Note that tag sets typically Process the Selected Fields. You can click on the button in the header of the rightmost column to change the mode to Process all but the Selected Fields. More information on inverted sets can be found in Field Selection Modes in Tables. Note that certain functions cannot process inverted sets. When loading a Tag Set in these functions from the context menu, inverted sets will not be displayed.

When viewing a tag set in the application, right clicking will display a context menu which allows you to clear, set or invert all items. You can also save the current set or load a set previously created. When you elect to save a set from another window, the Settings window will open (or switch) to the Tag List panel. The contents of the table at the right of the window will contain the tag set to be saved. The context menu will also allow you to select the contents of an existing tag set. The context menu also has an Enable/Disable Auto Sort item. Note that the setting is global and affects all Tag Set displays.

The count displayed in the column header of a tag set's first column represents the number of selected fields in the set. You can click on the column headers to change the sort order of the fields.

You manage tag sets in settings as follows:

Every saved tag set must have a unique name. To create a new tag set click the + button.

To remove tag sets, select one or more sets in the table and click the - button.

To duplicate a tag set, select a single set in the table and click the button.

To modify a tag set, select a single set in the table and click the button.

To export one or more tag sets so that they can later be imported, select one or more sets in the table and click the button. This is a smart export. All Custom Field accesses are exported in such a way that they can be conditionally remapped when imported.
