This function is used to manually tell an application to refresh its metadata for the currently selected files which are linked. When a linked file is saved in Yate, refreshing occurs automatically. The only time you would manually refresh is if you previously made changes in Yate and you were not linked at the time. Files with unsaved changes will not be properly refreshed as Apple applications refresh directly from the file. You should save your files before refreshing. Whenever a refresh occurs, Yate will reload the current library only metadata.
Warning: after refreshing it is possible that you will get a "File has been externally modified" warning message when you attempt to save any subsequent changes. This is due to the fact that Yate has to force Apple applications to change values which have become empty. When this happens, the Apple application may rewrite the new empty values to the files causing the externally modified message to appear. It is safe to continue and ignore the message.
