The Set Open Mode statement allows you to change the Open Mode settings. These settings will be in effect when the action terminates. The statement is primarily intended to be used with the Stop Action and Post Process statement.
Note that while you can set the Add/Replace option for Playlist Mode, the option will be ignored unless the Settings - File List Allow Playlist Replace Open Mode option is set.
This statement is not valid while batch processing.
If you set the Runtime override option, the Open Mode is set from named variable Set Open Mode Runtime Override. Characters in the named variable are examined left to right to set Open Mode components. The characters are treated case insensitive. Typically you should set an entire Open Mode and not leave components unspecified. The following character codes are supported:
Character | Description |
---|---|
A | Album Mode |
P | Playlist Mode |
+ | Add to the File List |
- | Replace the File List |
X | Do Not Process Subfolders |
S | Process Subfolders |
