This function is used to sort the order of the tracks being manipulated by an action. Normally the order of the tracks is the same as the order of the selected files as displayed in the track list. While Batch Processing, the track order is the default sort (Album, Disc, Track, path).
This function only changes the order of the tracks internal to action processing. It does not rearrange the file list.
The function is only valid in Stepwise mode.
You can choose to reapply the default sort or to apply a custom sort.
In a custom sort you can apply up to five search parameters. Each active search parameter specifies a sort key and a sort direction; ascending (↑) or descending (↓).
Note: when running in interactive mode if you do a Save and errors occur, the file list sort order will be reapplied.
