Based on specified criteria you can change the file selection in the main window. All of the variants effectively remove the old file selection before applying the new. Many of the menu items have different functionality when the Option (Alt) key is pressed. Some of the menu items are not available on the application's File menu.
- In the Same Folder
- All files which are in the same folder as any selected file, will be selected.
- In the Same Folder as Clicked Row (Option on Context menu only)
- All files which are in the same folder as the file associated with the clicked row, will be selected.
- Not in the Same Folder
- All files which are not in the same folder as any selected file, will be selected.
- Not in the Same Folder as Clicked Row (Option on Context menu only)
- All files which are not in the same folder as the file associated with the clicked row, will be selected.
- In the Same Album
- All files which are in the same album as any selected file, will be selected. Note that the album comparisons are performed case insensitive.
- In the Same Album as Clicked Row (Option on Context menu only)
- All files which are in the same album as the file associated with the clicked row, will be selected. Note that the album comparisons are performed case insensitive.
- Not in the Same Album
- All files which are not in the same album as any selected file, will be selected. Note that the album comparisons are performed case insensitive.
- Not in the Same Album as Clicked Row (Option on Context menu only)
- All files which are not in the same album as the file associated with the clicked row, will be selected. Note that the album comparisons are performed case insensitive.
- With Same Column Data (Context menu only)
- Data is matched based on a clicked column. The set of matching column data is extracted from all selected files. Any file which has column data found in the matching set, will be selected.
- With Same Column Data as Clicked Row (Option on Context menu only)
- Data is matched based on a clicked column. The set of matching column data is extracted from the file associated with the clicked row. Any file which has column data found in the matching set, will be selected.
- With Different Column Data (Context menu only)
- Data is matched based on a clicked column. The set of matching column data is extracted from all selected files. Any file which does not have column data found in the matching set, will be selected.
- With Different Column Data as Clicked Row (Option on Context menu only)
- Data is matched based on a clicked column. The set of matching column data is extracted from the file associated with the clicked row. Any file which does not have column data found in the matching set, will be selected.
- Matching Filter (Context menu only)
- The chosen saved filter is applied. Any file matching the filter criteria is selected.
- Not Matching Filter (Context menu only)
- The chosen saved filter is applied. Any file not matching the filter criteria is selected.
