This statement is used to check the specification validation of the currently selected files much as if the Log>Validation errors menu item was selected.
There are two modes in which to run the statement.
When the mode is Test, the action test state will be set to true if any active file has validation errors. The error will be placed into named variable Action Error Text. If there are no errors the action test state will be set to false.
When the mode is Report, the Action Pending Window will be displayed if a file fails the validation tests. The action test state will not be modified in order to retain compatibility with actions which were produced prior to the Test mode's implementation. Errors will be displayed in the Log Viewer unless batch processing in which case the errors will be placed into the batch log.
The statement is valid in all execution modes.
