Classical Metadata from Title

This actions attempt to extract classical metadata contained in a field. The algorithm is the same as the one used when extracting classical fields from MusicBrainz. When run directly from the UI, the Title field is always used. When run from the Multi Field Editor or a function button, the specified field is implied or specified.

The Extract Work and Part from Title action will attempt to set the Work and Part custom fields by extracting classical metadata from the effective field.

The Extract Apple Metadata from Title action will attempt to set Work Name, Movement Name, Movement Number and Movement Count by extracting classical metadata from the effective field.

The Extract All Possible Classical Metadata action will attempt to set the Work, Part, Opus, Classical Catalog, Cardinal Number, Work Name, Movement Name, Movement Number and Movement Count fields by extracting classical metadata from the effective field.

The Display Decomposed Classical Metadata action displays the extracted metadata in the Container Viewer. For an explanation of the possible fields see the documentation for the Decompose Title into Classical Metadata action statement.
