Get Path Utilities

A few small actions used to extract the paths of files or folders in the Finder. The actions save the extracted paths to the clipboard. They're useful if you ever need a path to paste into a field.

The following actions are supplied:

Finder Paths to Clipboard

You select one or more files and folders. The list of paths will be sorted and saved to the clipboard.

If the Save relative if in or under the home folder setting is enabled, every path in or under the home folder will be made into a relative path. eg:

/user/bob/Desktop

will become

~/Desktop

Dump Paths of Selected Files

The paths of every file currently loaded in the main window will be saved to the clipboard. Note that the display order is the same as the files in the main window. ie. the list is not sorted. The action has the same Save relative if in or under the home folder setting.

Batch Dump All File Paths

This action must be run through the batch processor. The path of every encountered audio file will be saved to a the specified text file

Recursively Dump All File Paths

Pretty much the same as Dump Paths of Selected Files except that folders are recursively traversed and relative paths are not supported.
