Remove All EXIF Data in Files Using exiftool

The action lets you remove all EXIF and GPS attributes from image files. macOS does not like removing all EXIF metadata from files which have EXIF metadata. For that reason, this action uses exiftool to do the removal. Note that in order for this action to run, exiftool must have been installed in the standard location.

The action will initially display a drop panel where you can successively drop image files to be cleaned. You can also drag folders. When a folder is processed, all image files in the folder will be cleaned. Hit the Continue button when all desired files have been dropped.

The View... button will display the list of files which have been dropped. You can remove items if you wish.

If you hit the Choose... button, a standard system file open panel will be displayed. If you always want this behaviour, check always show this panel. To return to the default behaviour, start the action with the Option key pressed.
