
The UI Layout Manager is displayed from the application's Window menu when the UI Layouts item is selected.
A single UI Layout can modify the following:
You can create, edit, remove, rename and duplicate saved named UI layouts from this panel.
The + button creates a new named layout which represents the current toolbar. Note that a created named layout essentially does not do anything. You must edit the layout to configure it.
The - button removes all selected named UI layouts.
The ❐ button, duplicates the selected named UI layout.
The ✎ button, edits the selected named UI layout.
The Done button closes the panel.
The Apply button closes the panel and applies the selected item.
When editing a layout, you set those configuration items that you wish to apply when the saved named item is executed. Access to the column layout, toolbar layout and edit panel layout are by name. Named layouts are inserted via a field's associated menu. The menus also allow you to create an item as if + was pressed in the appropriate panel. You can always rename them if you wish in the appropriate panel as changes will ripple up to the UI Layouts.
