I download albums from the site Bandcamp, but they are not properly tagged when I download them.

Is there a way to configure Yate so that it would work like the Discogs and Musicbrainz and tag tracks based on Bandcamp?

There is no precise API available as with Discogs and MusicBrainz. However, it is possible to extract metadata on a per album basis. There's an action called Bandcamp on the web resources page. I've used it with music I've purchased from Bandcamp. The action was actually updated yesterday 🙂

Thanks so much for the tip. It's perfect for my needs.

I'm a newbie to Yate, so I'm not sure how to install the workflow to Yate.

Could you possibly provide instructions?

Download the action. Drag the zip file to the main window's file list area. This will install the action. The action can be viewed in the Action Manager (Actions menu).

Load up some files; select them and run the action. There are many ways to run the action. Via Actions>User Defined, directly from the Action Manager, via a configured toolbar button, via a keyboard shortcut, etc.

Read up on the Open Mode before you do anything 🙂
