Yate
Yate was developed for people who want complete control over their tagging experience. The application was designed from the ground up for Mac users and uses its own tagging library. The application will tag mp3 (includes mp2), m4a (AAC, ALAC), mp4 (AAC, ALAC, video), m4b, m4v, flac, aiff (aifc, aif), dff, dsf, ape, wav, ogg (single stream Vorbis and Opus), Monkey’s Audio (ape) and WavPack (wv) files.
Yate has a long list of features, including an innovative scripting system called actions. The app also supports integration with AcousticBrainz, AcousticID, Beatport, Discogs, iTunes/Music/TV, last.fm, MusicBrainz and The Movie Database (TMDb). Many other integrations are provided via actions.

Yate supports Macs running macOS 10.10 or later. Yate is a universal build and natively supports Intel and Apple processors. Yate does not run on Windows. Additional information if you have an old Mac (early 2010 or older) or are running macOS 10.10, 10.11 or 10.12 can be found here.
Yate is available to download with no feature limitations for a 14 day trial period.
