Moving / Renaming using ArtistSort

Hi there,

Before tagging my flac files are currently in ~/sort.

I want to move and rename them as follows:
Artists/AlbumArtistSort/ArtistSort-Album-TrackNumber-TrackTitle.flac

When I try to create a new rename template the sorted fields (ArtistSort, AlbumArtistSort) are not available.

How do I get them to show up?

Hi,

I'm not at my Mac or near a copy of Yate .... so I'm doing this from memory.

The Move action function will handle the Artist and AlbumArtistSort fields as path parameters. The issue is that the rename template does not currently handle the 'sort' fields. I will add them for you. In the meantime you can get around the issue as follows:

Use a Copy function to copy ArtistSort to Variable1.

Make the rename template look like the following:
<Variable1>-<Album>-<Track Variant>-<Title>

Create the Move statement accordingly.

Note that the path fields in the Move statement can have placeholders supplied for empty fields. If you want to handle empty fields in the rename template you have to use <IfExists{+}> tokens.

I'll add the 'sort' fields to the templates and release a patch in a few days.
