I have a list of MP3s, some of them have track numbers set, some don’t. I want to get rid of all the track numbers, so that all track numbers will be empty. This is not possible, because Yate won’t let me edit / delete the track numbers of multiple tracks at the same time. I think this is another case of the program trying to be smart but coming in the user’s way sometimes. Probably it’s the same with other fields as well.

I know I could create an action for that, but that would just be a workaround for the straight way to do it.

In Preferences-File List there is an option called 'Disable Unique fields on multiple selections'. If you uncheck the option the protection is removed.
