I’m wondering if this is possible:

I have an action that checks whether an image is too large or too small. If it’s too large, it reduces the size; if it’s too small, it runs the “Auto Search for Artwork” function.

This setup works well for my needs. However, I’d like the edit panel to automatically switch to the Artwork tab whenever the search is triggered.

Yeah, sure, that would work (I think).

I'm on v8.1.1 now.

I could possibly put a conditional statement at the end of the action that runs only if a named var is set.

Something like this:

' Test if the artwork exists
Test if artwork does not exist

    ' Test if the artwork is more than 1200px
    Test if artwork is less than 1201x1201 w&h
    if false
        ' Prompt to conform the artwork resize.
        Ask "Do you wish to auto-resize the artwork?↵…"

I can't seem to get it to work as intended.

I've created the named variable `search` with the lines you provided and I'm testing that it's not empty.

I did initially try set search with "#Edit Panel\nArtwork", but then reread your comment and changed it to:

#Edit Panel
Artwork
