Normal topic[Usability] Enter mapping in User Defined Textfield

It would be nice, if in »User Defined Textfield« and »User Defined URLs» pressing »Enter« in the value field would result in a »Done«-press.
As multiline-texts are not allowed there, this would be a time saver.

This is another case of it being difficult to guarantee that the Done button gets the return key. For example the Description field in User Defined Text Info will allow and eat Return keys.

The Done key on all the advanced panels can be bound to a shortcut in Preferences-Shortcuts-Key Bindings-Done.

While you can't set the key to Return you can set it to Command-Return.

Thanks for the answer.
As there is a new field for the catalognumber now, I won’t do much in the user defined text field in the future…
