Hello,

When I try to open a podcast m4a file, I get this warning:

"file is missing moov-udta atom. Possibly not single track audio."

Any thoughts on what this means and how to fix the issue would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Hmm, moov-udta-meta is where where metadata is kept. It's possible that the podcast contains more than one track and you're simply hitting this error first. Yate only handles m4a files containing one track which is audio. I already handle the case where 'meta' is missing but I've not seen the case where 'udta' is missing. it may be possible to work around if there is only one track in the file.

If you want to send me a link to the file I can take a look at it and see if there is anything that can be done.

Hello!

Is this something I could fix using Audacity?

Thanks!

Well good news. It is a single track audio file. The only issue is the missing udti atom which I can construct. I'll email you a link to a test fix a little later in the day.
