Oops crossing posts. Toronto, Canada. Closing up for the evening. If you post again, I'll answer tomorrow.

2MR2 Well I ran the great action on all 7 folders and still number 7 is showing up as first one.

I unfortunately have no idea what mechanisms they go through to determine the display order. Certainly there are no issues in the tracks which could mess them up.

If you have not already done so, try removing the albums from A+ and adding them back again. I've heard that at times they don't update the Album and Album artist fields upon changes.

I just thought of one more thing. Is it possible that you have more than one space before the 7? If so, rename the folder, rerun the action and try again. If there is more than one space and they are sorting strictly alphabetically, that would cause 7 to be sorted first.

Look for: 70's Hits {space}{space} 7

Baring, the above suggestions, I'm afraid you'll have to ask them.

Thanks for the tip. How do I do a search for {space} {space} Thanks for all your help. I did earlier before this forum think I had extra spaces but I'll check again. I mean how do I inspect the code in YATE?

I solved it just took the space out, not the most elegant way but I don't mind the 7 bumping up against the s on Hits. I just wish I knew for future use why this happened. Thanks again.

I'm glad it's working. I've generated a new version of the action called "OffTheRoad - Clean Folder 2".

You can get the action at:

https://2manyrobots.com/actions/OffTheRoad-CleanFolder2.zip

This version of the action will remove all leading and trailing spaces from the folder name. It will also change all sequences of multiple spaces to a single space. It will rename the folder if necessary. All other functionality has been retained. You won't have to worry about spaces with this version.

To run the action:

- load one of your folders into Yate.
- from the Actions Menu: User Defined>OffTheRoad - Clean Folder

This one OffTheRoad-CleanFolder2.plist failed to load graphic jpeg cover
