Hi there

I'm trying to use the "Replace" command with regular expressions but I cannot get this work. Regexp are recognized all well in the "Regular Expression Tester" but within my actions regexp are not working. Do you have any idea what is wrong here (see screenshot).

My environment is:

- macOS Sierra Version 10.12.6 (16G1212)
- Yate Version 3.17.4.2 (6195.6131)

Had me feeling a little fuzzy on a Sunday morning with this. 🙂 The Replace statement does not process regular expressions. There is a statement called:

Regular Expression

in the Text category.

The Regular Expression statement can Replace, Return Matches and Return Ranges. You can also view the tester directly from the statement.

You are right of course: it works fine when I use the function RegularExpression.

I was confused by the term "Escape Sequences" in the help text of the Replace function as I mixed that up with "Regular Expression Metacharacters".
