Normal topicArtwork Disappears upon Save

I'm experiencing a strange behavior on some FLAC files that are 96/24. I'm attempting to add a jpg file as the album artwork that is 3000x3000. However, each time I click to save the changes, the artwork is cleared from the interface and it is not saved in the file. Are there limits for artwork in FLAC files (I've recently moved over to FLAC files from using ALAC) that I'm missing?

Yate Version 5.1.3 (8665.8644)

Thanks,
Neil

It's possible although I've never seen it before. There is a size limitation of around ~16mb for an individual FLAC item. If the artwork item is too large it will be tossed. The limitation is around 16mb.

I guess I could return that the Save has failed due to an artwork item being too large. As I said I've never seen this before. The code was more of a 'sanity' check.

If you want to send me a zipped copy of the image that cannot be saved I can verify what is happening in the debugger. Send the file to support@2manyrobots.com. If the zip is too large to send, you can email a link to the file in Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.

I've tested in the debugger and it's as I thought. The image cannot be saved in a FLAC file. It's way too large. You can resize it or use more compression to fix the issue. It's a first for me.

I guess I start failing Saves with an error message in the next release for this issue.
