Normal topicAre external cue files supported?

hi.
i noticed a bunch of options re. CUE sheets, so i assumed cue files could be supported. however the 1st file i tried dragging and dropping on yate, resulted just in a "ping" error sound and nothing happened.
a tried few other things and dragging a folder and then a cue file, got me the message as attached.
both XLD and foobar had no issues with the file.

edit: i tried removing

'

from file names and folders and shortening them, but nothing changed really.

Yate can create them, embed them, un-embed them but it doesn't load them. There is no real reason for this. The FILE specification in a cue file can be a full path or simply a filename. It's easy enough to handle if you wish. Relative files could be assumed to be in the same folder. However, if there're in the same folder it's just as easy to drag in the folder or a contained file.

The error message is due to the fact that Yate attempts to scrape artwork from files dragged in which it doesn't directly handle.

As I said if you'd like to use them as a loading mechanism, it's easy enough to add. Nobody ever asked 🙂

It took about five minutes. In the upcoming v6.1 you will be able to open cue files by File>Open, dragging and by the Finder's Open With menu.
