I would like to know how i can rename my file name from my title field but not using an already made action this is part of a bigger action. i can't find the file name in the "set" function ot the template

File renaming can be done in the UI via the File>Rename menu or in an action by the Rename action statement. All file renames are controlled by Rename Templates. Rename Templates are defined in Preferences - Rename.

Off the top of my head I can't remember which templates are built in. However, renaming a file to the Title metadata requires only a single token. I always recommend putting in duplicate testing just in case of name collisions. For example may albums have multiple songs named Intro.

I attached an image of a sample rename template for Title.

Hit Post too soon. Filename is not a field which is why it's not on the Set statement. Filename is a Property.
