Please forgive me if this has been addressed. I did a search, and didn't find it.

I'd like to rename a group of files using the "Track Number" and "Title" tags. I know the opposite can be done (tag files using file name info), but can't find this option. I used to use a handy tagging app called MP3 Rage that offered this feature. I'll bet Yate can do it - I just can't figure it out.

Any help is appreciated - many thanks.

Yate renames files using rename templates. There is a pre-installed template named Track2-Title which does what you're asking for.

Load and select your files then do a File>Rename>Track2-Title.
