Hi,

Will it be a lot off work to reverse the "FLAC Files to ALAC" action, I would very much appreciate if you can find the time?

That action has been supplanted by the Sync Files Utility on the resources page.. The sync suite includes a converter action named: Convert Files. You can use that action to convert ALAC to FLAC using Permute 3 or XLD. The only thing the action does not do is add the files to iTunes which is irrelevant here as you're converting to FLAC.

Select XLD as the converter and FLAC as the XLD preset. Configure a few options and you're good to go. The displayed panel will look a little different if you don't have Permute 3 on your system.

BTW: If you want to run it over a folder containing files which are not ALAC and you want to do the conversion only for ALAC, you can use the Sync File Utility to create a profile to do just that.

Cool, but as usual I need a little help I can't get past this error.

I dropped the files in Yate and those the action Convert Files.

XLD is installed.

My apologies. There was a bug with XLD if no user profiles were defined in XLD. I've updated the action. Do a:

Yate>Check for Action Updates

Also, the screen shot I posted had Delete source files set. I wouldn't do that until you've verified that everything is working the way you want.

P.S. are you aware of the font color when using Dark Mode not everything are white font...
