Normal topicAudiobook/Audible Tags?

Hello,

I'm very much a newbie to Yate, and I was wondering if anyone has used it for audiobook metadata. If so, can they help me with figuring how to map Yate tags to Audible tags? I'm using Plex to serve the audiobooks, and there's a good amount of documentation on how to do this with Mp3Tag, but I can't seem to find the equivalent for Yates, or all the same tags.

For example, Mp3tag has SERIES** and SERIES-PART** tags, but I can't find anything similar in Yates.
I'm probably overlooking something really obvious, and I'd love some advice or a nudge in the right direction.

Thank you!

Hi, you can add custom tags for whatever you'd like in Yate. You would do so from Preferences - General - Custom fields. Once you've defined the fields you can map them to an editing panel of your own design via Edit>Custom Panel Editor.

However, you do need the low level mappings for the fields to want to define. I can't find any definitions for SERIES or SERIES-PART. If the uppercase names are the low level mappings it's as easy as entering them for the field mappings when creating the custom fields.for example:

Thanks so much for such a quick response—I really appreciate it! Newbie question: low level mappings are on the Yate side, right?

Low level mappings are the names of the fields as they appear in the different types of audio files. In the image I sent I set the per audio file mappings to SERIES. The name of the custom field is Series. In Yate you would refer to the field as Series. When the audio files get read and written, SERIES would be used.

Thank you! I'll try replicating what you put in...hopefully I can fumble through it. Thanks again!
