Normal topic[Bug] Cannot edit INITIAL_KEY values

A lot of my tracks have an INITIAL_KEY-value like this: »9A Em«.
Yate won’t let me edit them, because it says only two characters are allowed, I’m even not allowed to remove these two characters because of the popup. Instead of forbidding it, it would be better imo to show a popup telling the user how an optimal value looks like with a tick mark »Do not show again«. The popup could show once when a user clicks into the text field.

Hope you can fix this soon, as I need to use another tagger to edit these keys…

This is a case of being too exact. The More Info panel is enforcing the strict ID3 interpretation of the Initial Key field. There is no need for this, as being a simple text field it is really only for your information and you should be able to store it formatted however you wish. I will change this in the next build I put out.

For now you can edit these values by clicking on the disclosure triangle to the right of the field. The advanced editor does not enforce the strict interpretation.
