Not an insurmountable issue but I've noticed that if I use the application switching command (command - tab) when the multi-field editor is open, then an image I'm previewing in the finder by tapping the space bar stays in front.

So, I'm currently checking the track lists of PDFs against the tracks in Yate & making the necessary amendments. In order to do this, I've previewed the PDF by tapping the space bar & I'm switching to Yate to update tags using the application switching command.

Or, to be more precise, shot 01 will get me to shot 04 if I've left the multi-field editor in front of the main app.

This is the way application tabbing works. When you select an application by tabbing you are only guaranteed to get whatever window in the application was frontmost. It will not bring the other potential windows open by the application to the front. Even if the main window is not obscured, there is no no guarantee it will hide the preview if the disjoint Multi Field Editor had the focus.

Regardless, all of this is outside the control of Yate. It's the OS.
