Nope, but if you download and install it again from the same address:

https://2manyrobots.com/actions/Move-Numbered-Artwork-to-Numbered-Folders.zip

you'll have v3.0 of the action. It allows images named: {text_}#_Cover.(png|jpg)

eg.

123_Cover.png
match folder named text_123

45_Cover.jpg
match folder named text_45

Disc_01_Cover.jpg
match folder named text_01

Check after importing that you have v3.0

I see that you beat me to it!! 😆

Scratch that. I tried it & it doesn't work.

A bit of sloppy thinking on my part, because if my image names start with a number, then they will file amongst the tracks numerically which I'd prefer them not to do.

If I add the word Disc to the beginning, such that a file would be "Disc_01_Cover.jpg" etc. that would solve the problem. Would it be easy to adjust this action to accommodate that or is that a lot of work?

I'm also wondering whether it could accommodate triple numbers, as I often get sets with over 100 discs? (If not, it wouldn't be too hard for me to pad any box set to a three numbers & just have a three number version.)

I still think it's borderline miraculous the way you make these things! Thank you.

🙂

In case I wasn't clear any sequence of numbers works. However, the sequence is text. 9123 is not the same as 123.

As long as the folder and image number pattern is the same, they will match,

My last post makes far more sense if it reads: 0123 is not the same as 123. 🙂

I have an issue with this action. As you can see in the screenshot, in the top window I have my target folder with the numbered folders & in the window below I have my source folder of covers. I'm selecting them in the correct order but getting the error message in the second screenshot. Would this be because there is text after the numbers in the target folders?

If not, what am I doing wrong? 🙂

Well ... there is a difference. This is the first time the _# sequences do not come at the end of the name in the folders. I've changed the folder test to accept _# anywhere in the folder name.

Download the file at:

https://2manyrobots.com/actions/Move-Numbered-Artwork-to-Numbered-Folders.zip

This is v4.0 of the action. After importing, check the version number in the Action Manager. If you don't have v4.0 after importing, you may have to clear your browser cache and download it again.
