Using lists with the language field?

Hi,

First, thanks for this amazing app.

I'm wondering how to use a list of saved values with the language field. I was able to do it for Sort artist and Sort Album Artist in Settings>List, but I don't see Language listed in the settings panel and don't understand how to add it.

Unfortunately, the Language field is not currently list enabled. I can add this for you in the next release.

Every custom field can be assigned to a list and displayed on a custom edit panel. However, this would require the use of a different field.

It would be amazing if it could be added. I want to use it to store language ISO codes. Some really aren't easy to remember, especially when English isn't our first language.

I thought about the same workaround as you, and use the action that auto-run on save to copy and paste this custom field's content in the language field.

Done in v7.0 which will be released shortly. There is no same named list for the Language field but it can be associated with any of the custom lists.
