I'm a Yate newbie with a basic question:

Is there anything I need to do to enable the Roon Tab in the Edit Panel?

in my newly installed version of Yate (7.0.0.2), it's not showing up.

The Roon edit panel has to be installed. It is available on the resources web page or you can download it here:

When no files are loaded, drag the zip file to the main window's file list area. The Custom Panel editor will open with a popup allowing you to select which of the 10 custom panels you want to use. You can use any.

If you do not have the required custom fields, you will be prompted to allow them to be installed. When prompted, check For all items of this type and select Choose Import Values.

After the panel has been imported, you can display it on any edit panel preset button by right clicking on the button and selecting the Roon+ item.

BYW: If you're going to be using Roon you should probably set the Roon preset in Settings - Audio - Common - Application presets. This will ensure the maximum encoding of tags for use with Roon.
