Is there a way to get Move to Alpha Take Two to batch move files.

When I select more than one file, I get this error

Folder /Volumes/Samsung_T5 Master/*New Serato DJ has an inconsistant or empty Album Artist field

Move to Alpha Take Two groups tracks within folders. If you have multiple albums in the same folder, it will not work ... as you've found.

You basically want to group by the Album field as opposed to by folders. Am I correct?

The action also requires that the {Album} Artist field is consistent with a grouping. Does this still work? Do you need an option to disable this as well?

Okay, but when grouping by Album and a consistent Artist is not required, you can scatter tracks everywhere.

I'll have a look at the action tomorrow.

I know you said you will work on this tomorrow, but I ran into another issue. I noticed that if an artist's name starts with the letter A followed by a space, like A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, it creates a folder under the second name's. I attached example below. Thank you

Leading articles are removed from the start of the artist name. 'The Rolling Stones' should be under R not T.

'A' is an article. Another option to disable the removal of leading articles? Or limit it to 'the'?

I've posted an update to the actions. Move to Alpha Two had a bug where when run in immediate mode and multiple folders were selected, it could mess up the validation. I can't see your folder structure in your screenshots. However, if you did have files separated into correct folders (ie. one album per folder), this will fix the issue.

However, if you have tracks from multiple albums in a single folder, there is a new option to process every file separately.

There are also new options to provide more granularity on the removal of leading articles. You can disable it or choose an alternate set for the default natural sorting exception set.
