Have you ever considered expanding the tagging sources. Musicbrainz and discos are good, but I find that many albums only have accurate tagging on iTunes/Apple Music. Would it be possible to add them as tagging sources?

Yate has fully supported it for years.

Do a Yate>Resource Actions Installer; Search for Apple Music; check the checkbox and click on Install Checked Actions.

This will install a folder named Apple Music in the Actions Manager. To see the fill documentation right click on any of the actions and select Resource Documentation

Regarding importing metadata from Apple Music, I am at a loss as to how to do this. Could you please provide more specific instructions. I understand the wizard for musicbrainz. Is there something equivalent for Apple Music?

The Apple Music Integration is provided by a set of actions. Do a Yate>Resource Actions Installer. Search for Apple Music. Check install on the matched row then do an Install Checked Actions.

After installing, you will have an Apple Music folder in the Actions Manager. Right click on any action in the folder and select Resource Documentation to view the documentation. Don't get turned off by the number of actions ... only about 6 of them are user facing.

I use this dfaily.

How do you create an Apple Music default profile. It seems you need this to do anything.

Run the AM: Profile Manager action. Give it a name and hit Create/View. When you're done, make it the default from the drop down menu to the right the text field where you entered the name
