Firts of all, thanks for the great tool that is Yate. Is perfect for tagging, but I´m looking for renaming an album folder with the name of the artist, album or compilation, publisher, year... All of my CDs are compilations like for example http://www.discogs.com/Various-Rave-Mission-Vol-III-Reinforced-Vibrations/release/135313 and I have renamed by hand some of them like this

Rave Mission Vol. III - Reinforced Vibrations - Sub Terranean [SPV 089-38292] - 1995

I tried with renaming and action options, but with no luck so, is there a way to do with Yate?

Yate can rename your files and folder to anything 🙂

If you can break down the fields which contain your content for me it would help.

Rave Mission Vol. III - ReinForced Vibrations is in the Album Field?
Sub Terranean is in Label?
[SPV 089-38292] is in Catalog?

I don't see an artist field.???

All of these are supported fields in a Rename Template. If you only want to rename the folder and not the files, put your tokens after a <Folder Start> token.

eg.

<Folder Start><Album> - <Label> - [<Catalog>]

If I'm missing something please let me know.

It's totally right. I was missing <Folder Start> tag, so with that, I can rename folders perfectly.
