Hi,

Audirvana has the possibility to create proxy files for DSD. When I try to open these in Yate I get the following error:

"Primary chunk overrun"

I can edit the file in iTunes

Hi, thanks for providing the file. Actually it took me longer to figure out how to change the Dropbox link to a download than to fix the bug 🙂

The first chunk in an aiff file contains the size of the entire aiff data. For some reason I cannot understand, producers of the files seem to have a hard time correctly calculating the size. In the file you provided, the size field overshoots the filesize by about 16 bytes. In 1.4.1 I fixed what appeared to be the most common case of the error. In that case the chuck was one byte too large. I've now completely disabled the error message and recalculate the correct chunk size on the fly.

BTW: Yate will only 'correct' the size in the file if it has to entirely rewrite the ID3 tag. If it can rewrite the tag 'in place' the old size will remain. As the files worked for you before, this should not matter.

Yate v1.4.1.1 has been released and corrects this issue.
