Normal topicweird - artwork question -

I have a 4 CD compilation that I can't "Add Artwork" to multiple files. I can only add artwork to single files. I batch cleared all art. I tried just selecting all the files on one disc - nope. I tried just selecting two files - nope. But if I select a single file I can add artwork. What do you think it is?

There is a setting in Preferences - File List called: Disable Unique Fields on Multiple Selection. It is checked by default and is to protect people from doing potentially harmful operations such as setting the Title field to the same value for multiple files. It will also stop you from setting the same artwork to multiple files which have separate Album values. Most users disable (uncheck) the option.

More than likely this option is dinging you as the Album fields are probably different for each CD in the compilation. Simply uncheck the option and you will be okay 🙂
