Normal topicmusicbrainz -- genre & mood?

I thought I read on the musicbrainz site that they didn't do genre.

But the "Access MusicBrainz" action seems to get Genre and Mood.
Are these from MusicBrainz or somewhere else?

There is an option in Preferences - MusicBrainz called 'Use Discogs Data when Available'. If the MusicBrainz entry has a Discogs relationship and the options is set we look at the data on Discogs.
