Hello,

Is there anyway to create a simple text track list for each of my folders? I have looked through creating a new action and don't seem to be able to piece anything together.

I like to have a simple text file which just says:

Album Artist - Album Title
Format: FLAC

1. Artist - Title (01:23)
Total time: (01:23)

I used to have a bash script for this, but Yate is so good I'd like to have it there instead.

The action is named: Produce Track Lists

You can use it interactively or through the batch processor. When run interactively it will handle multiple folders. It produces a Track List.txt file in every folder. If any required metadata such as Format, Album Artist or Album is not consistent, the information will be displayed as Unknown text. The same holds for missing track numbers and empty Artist and Title fields.

Thanks so much for the speedy reply guys!

Unfortunately I can't seem to get any output from this, either by invoking it directly or through the batch processor. No text files are created.

The log from the batch processor doesn't show any errors.

Sorry. That's what happens when you document after the fact and cut and paste stuff. I cut out the line which populated the folder paths. 🙁

I've uploaded a new copy to the same address.

v3.14.2 has been released. I've added an updated version of this action which is far more efficient to the sample actions list in the Resources area.
