As of October 1, 2017 Beatport has dropped support for TLS1.0 and TLS1.1. This effects the SSL support required to connect to their site. As far as we can tell everything works fine on OS X 10.9 (Mavericks) and higher.

If you are running 10.6 (Snow Leopard), 10.7 (Lion) or 10.8 (Mountain Lion) you may have little or no access to the Beatport Site. This includes from Safari. We have seen cases where existing authentications will continue to work with Yate. However, you cannot count on this continuing.

There will be no fix forthcoming. The issue lies within the security libraries at the OS level.

We're sorry for those of you who are upset. Yate now supports eight versions of the OS. Some of them are quite frankly getting to be too difficult to support. We are not proposing to drop support for any OS at this time. However, if you are experiencing loss of functionality such as Beatport interaction, it might be time to consider upgrading.
