Normal topicRename error

Hi,

Files are on NFS disk with "rw" access.
OS is OSX El Capitan (10.11.6)
Yate Version 4.4 (7666.7645)

When I change any metadata and save file everything is OK.
When I rename file error occure:

"Rename Error

Error resetting modification date after renaming of file:
/Volumes/Music/New/Moanaa/Passage/Moanaa - Passage - 06 The Shift.m4a
to
/Volumes/Music/New/Moanaa/Passage/Moanaa - Passage - 06 - The Shift.m4a

You don’t have permission."

After press "Cancel" or "Continue" filename is changed as I expected.
I try check or uncheck "Preserve modification date/time when saving audio files" option. Nothing change.

Is any method to disable "Rename Error" window?

Regards,
Henio

Hmm...it seems as if my reply was lost.

The NFS driver is returning the 'You don’t have permission' portion of the error message. I can add something to disable the error messages but there are ramifications. If the error occurs and I do not post the message, every time you rename a file the driver may have modified the timestamp. This can occur when renaming a file or folder. Further, I would bet that 'Preserve modification date/time when saving audio files' will never work.

I'll reach out to you directly with a patch to test.
