All of this assumes that you don't have compilations and non compilations in the same folder. The non audio files can only be moved once. I can generate a sample action for you later tonight

But I do and will have comps & non-comps in the same "sorting" folder. my practice with media rage was once all re-tagging was done, I just used the organize tool as described above and it achieved what i'm trying to do here.

can't i make some kind of conditional action with two sub routines, one for comps, one not? Definitely would appreciate a sample!

Hey, I am trying to get my head around what you want to do. If you have comps and non comps in the same "sorting" folder, that is not an issue as far as moving the audio tracks. Your two Move statements essentially work on a per track basis and will correctly place all tracks in their new folders.

Let's say you have a bunch of non audio files in the "sorting" folder. Where would you like them to go and based on what criteria? Your two Move statements can result in various destination folders depending on the selected files.

The Move Non Audio Statements in your previous image will not do what you want because if any non-comps are moved, the non audio files will all be moved to to the destination folder of the fist move.

...also the exclude field is set to exclude specific files not file types. m3u(8) files will not be moved because they are not specified in the first field. The exclude field could be used if you were moving jpeg files but you didn't want to move specific files.

If you answer the highlighted question I can help you move the files wherever you'd like.

Track abc.mp3 is not part of compilation. No issue
Track def.mp3 is part of a compilation. No issue
naf1.pdf where would you like it to go....with abc, def?

I want non-audio files to go into the target folders corresponding to the album folders where they were originally. I wouldn't have any files at all, audio or non-audio, in the source "sorting" folder. That source folder is a bunch of sub-folders, each is an album.
